Your Support
The Water Tower is managed
entirely by volunteers. Your support is vital to us, as only with it we
can successfully maintain the Water Tower, the Hermitage, Folly Bridge
and the Historic Landscape Garden.
Your help enable us to open this unique building and historic garden to
the general public for their pleasure and your enthusiasm will inspire
us.
There are many opportunites for you to help with the fund raising if you wish to do so. However whether you wish to visit occasionally or take more of an active part in the team, whatever your skills and interests and whereever you live there will be a welcoming place for you as a Friend of the Carshalton Water Tower.
A Friend
As a Friend you will be part
of a very active group formed by the Trustees of the Water Tower in 1991
and developed in 2002 to encompass the historic garden.
You will have the opportunity to visit this elegant building, participate
in more activities, assist and follow in the improvements to the Water
Tower, Hermitage, Folly Bridge & garden meeting with people with similar
interests.
You are entitled to:
- Free entry to the Tower when open to the public,
- Newletters
- Invitations to lectures
- Private views of exhibitions
- Social events specially organised for the Friends
- Advance notice of concessions
- Limited editions of sales promotions in the shops
- Special prices on certain events
- Special rates if you want to hire the Tower or tour the Gardens
